Adopt A Life

The Adopt-A-Life program is a mentoring program that connects a compassionate member of society with a Christian inmate who is enrolled in or has completed the MasterLife program and is living out a Christian life. Until the incarcerated are discipled by Christian Mentors and given a purpose by God there is little hope for a positive transition back into society. Most incarcerated persons have never been properly parented, much less discipled. Therefore, the missing link is getting them connected with true Christians who are willing to get involved. Ananias in the book of Acts in chapter 9 took on the task of discipling Paul.

This is an opportunity for you to bear good fruit in the life of a Christian inmate. Of course, anywhere God is working, the devil always tries to sow bad seed. We have gone to great detail in making sure that you are protected from manipulation, cons or scams from inmates who might infiltrate this ministry with wrong motives. The men will be instructed never to ask for money or anything unless you offer to do so first. You are encouraged to use a post office box or your church address to receive your letters unless you chose otherwise. If you ever get a strange letter or request please contact us at once. You will be given a list of things that the inmate can have and how you can help him. He or she will not have to ask. If there is any mention of money amounts, lawyer fees, or anything of that nature, contact our Ministry immediately.
